Iphone Apps Disappeared After Sync

I was syncing my iphone to my computer and a bunch of my apps disappeared. How can I recover them?
I even paid for some of the ones that disappeared.
If your iTunes settings had sync applications unchecked it’s possible that it removed them from your device. What you can do is go to the App Store on your computer and re download the apps that were deleted. For the ones you already purchased just press the buy button again and it will download the app for free and it will not charge you.
