Google earlier this month improves its Google movie search site, and adds movies’ showtimes, trailers, reviewers, genre filters and Google Maps of the theater locals. The search results for movies are available in US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand now.
Besides, just as a huge Thanksgiving gift, Google this week extended its new movie search capabilities to Apple’s iPhone, Android-based devices such as the myTouch 3G, Motorola Droid or HTC Eris, and Palm WebOS smartphones.
Now you can try it, navigate to Google.com in the web browser and search for “movies”. You will see the first search result if you use “movies” as the search keywords. Then you can enter the movie name and get its showtimes. You will find out the theater information, movie showtimes and dubbed language.
Just as with Google’s desktop version of movie search, Google’s mobile movie search also shows trailers, ratings, showtimes, lists of the nearest theaters in Google Maps.
In this page, I search the most popular movie new moon, which is the part two of Twilight Saga, a beautiful and breathtaking love story about a human girl and a handsome vampire. Then I obtain the movie introduction and the trailer, the nearest theater address in Google Maps and its showtime lists.
Now, do you feel tiring in the cold holidays?
