Smart phone is a special kind of wireless devices that come equipped with much more advanced data features than most. Smart Phones also often come with keyboards. Though there is no specific definition of a smart phone but we can come to a conclusion that a smart phone has the following option.

Short story of smart phone:
The first smart phone was called Simon designed by IBM in 1992 and shown as a concept product that year at COMDEX, the computer industry trade show held in Les Vegas It was released to the public in 1993 and sold by Bell South .Besides being a mobile phone, it also contained a calendar, world clock, address book,calculator, note pad, e-mail, send and receive fax, and games.
It had no physical buttons to dial with. Instead customers used a touch-screen to select phone numbers with a finger or create facsimiles and memos with an optional stylus. Text was entered with a unique on-screen “predictive” keyboard. By today’s standards, the Simon would be a fairly low-end smartphone.
The Nokia Communicator line was the first of Nokia’s smart phones starting with the Nokia 9000 released in 1996. This distinctive palmtop computer style smart phone was the result of a collaborative effort of an early successful and expensive PDA model by Hewlett Packard combined with Nokia’s bestselling phone around that time and early prototype models had the two devices fixed via a hinge.
The 9210 as the first color screen Communicator model which was the first true smart phone with an open operating system; the 9500 Communicator that was also Nokia’s first camera phone Communicator and Nokia’s first WiFi phone; the 9300 Communicator was the third dimensional shift into a smaller form factor; and the latest E90 Communicator includes GPS.
The Nokia Communicator model is remarkable also having been the most expensive phone model sold by a major brand for almost the full lifespan of the model series, easily 20% and sometimes 40% more expensive than the next most expensive smart phone by any major manufacturer.
To protect Nokia’s monopoly domination for smart phone, another many company such as Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, HTC, Samsung, Motorola has began their campaign for smart phone production and marketing.

I’ve had my droid since december but needed to get a replacement as a result of the software ruined my telephone when it updated itself. So needless to say having troubles & discovered this wonderful website lol i do have a questio tho…my ram storage is gettin smaller & smaller..is there nethin i can do to assist get sum again?

Does anyone know which sort of video files are supported? I remember the Intuition only may dl 3gp using opera mini. I downloaded the twist ap, perhaps that is the issue? How can I watch videos from websites apart from youtube? Which file sorts? Often I am given the option of 3gp or mpeg4. Can’t get either to work. Thank you in your time! Rattling I wish I was eligible for the upgrade to EVO!

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

I’m a new and really proud owner of the HTC Desire..and I simply love my new phone!! Before switching to HTC, I was an iPhone person for approximately 7 mos. and already were given annoyed with its barriers even when JB, and due to this fact I switched! I’m satisfied to peer this nice article..hoping to learn a lot from the zen masters here since I new to the Android platform.

Apple solves the problem by limiting the multitasking. Apple doesn’t multi task where it should. Android multitasks where it shouldn’t. Somewhere between the two is the right ansewr. You may not need dual core chips to do the job right.

While I really like a physical keyboard, after managing the Samsung Captivate for roughly quarter-hour, it’s exhausting to move back. At the moment I am debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, go to Sprint for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate…selections, decisions.
