At&t and Verizon question?
My contract with at&t has recently expired. I went cell phone shopping and noticed many smart phones require a $30 monthly fee. Since I have no desire to use these extra features that come with the phone, I feel the charge is completely unnecessary.
I was wondering if Verizon charges this $30 a month for their smart phones or any other monthy fees?

Check Sprint out, they seriously have the lowest plans. AND they don’t charge ANYTHING extra for smartphones…
You have to have a DATA plan with any smartphone, and to be honest, what’s the point of a smartphone with no data. May as well get a good text messaging phone at that point.
